A lot of reiki symbols have been revealed and all these symbols are believed to own distinctive vibrating powers.

These symbols didn’t have any names at one stage and were purely numbered from one to five but afterwards all of them possess a deep meaning.

The first one is Cho Ku Rei or the Power Symbol meaning “put all the power of the universe here”. The user could draw energy from the environment and focus it wherever he or she wanted to.

It is widely used to purify harmful energies, empower other reiki symbols, for spiritual protection, mark treatments and seal the powers after the treatment.

The second one is called Sei He Ki or the Mental Emotional Symbol. Sei He Ki means “God and Humanity Becomes One”. People suffering from mental or emotional imbalance are cured by this symbol.

“Sei He Ki” symbol is used by reiki masters in balancing the left and right side of the brain to help attain peace and harmony of the person and enables the person to set off Kundalini during meditation. It aligns the upper chakras, offer psychic defence; get rid of addictions, awful energies and depressing sensations.

Third is called Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. It allows the reiki channel to channel reiki at a distance in spite of the fact that the episode happened in the past, the present or the future.

This is  cumulative from the 5 Japanese kanji namely; source, origin, person, right or just, correct certainly and thought or idea  also know as a Buddhist chant which means right consciousness is the root of everything.

The fourth symbol is the Tamarasha. It is a basically a balancing and unblocking symbol that may ground and balance energy.

The fifth symbol is Dai Ko Myo. This symbol is used to help the student to attain different levels of reiki power. Only the reiki masters can use this powerful symbol.

This symbol deals with spiritual self of the person and it heals the soul and also cure a disease from the source in the air or the energy fields. The person becomes instinctive and spiritual thus providing peace.

To activate all the symbols all you need to do is to draw them in the palm of your hand, visualizing it or spelling the symbols’ name three times and place it or draw it on the clients chakra, hands or wherever it should be treated.
